The St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church & Cemetery are located on Alpena & Green Roads, 2 miles east and 2 miles southeast of Posen. The church was organized in 1878 on Bolton Road according to printed records. In 2003, Donald Knopf read the St. Paul Cemetery tombstones. Further research showed that there are many unmarked gravesites with no tombstones. The following are burials with names on tombstones. Included are maiden names that are not on the tombstone, but added, if known.
